Dit is de standaard zoutsteen bij uitstek! Alle soorten zoutmuren kunnen heel goed met deze steen worden gerealiseerd, zelfs ronde bogen en tongewelven. Hij is ook heel geschikt als vloerbedekking. Hij is bijzonder geschikt voor achtergrondverlichting. Dankzij de dikte van vijf centimeter is de rode kleur ideaal zonder dat de verlichtingsarmaturen zichtbaar zijn, zoals het geval kan zijn bij dunne zouttegels. Deze zoutsteen-tegels worden meestal in verband gelegd. Per anderhalve vierkante meter muuroppervlak voor verlijming is één Akemi Akepox 5010 Single Mix patroon van 265 ml nodig, wat neerkomt op 75 tegels voor deze zoutsteen van 20x10x5 cm.
